Elmerettia Didlinger

Elmerettia Didlinger, 90, Mooresville, died February 24, 2012. She was born September 15, 1921, in Bloomington, to the late Elmer and Emma (Sims) Barnes.

Elmerettia and her husband had previously lived in Chicago and Vincennes. She was a former member of the local Moose Lodges and Eagles. Mrs. Didlinger was a homemaker and also enjoyed collecting various rocks.

Along with her parents and many siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Clinton Didlinger, in 1992.

Survivors include her sons, Carl Didlinger of Indianapolis, and John Didlinger of Compton, IL;
3 grandchildren, Carla Kirby of Martinsville, Cynthia Perry of Mooresville, and John Didlinger of Compton, IL; 6 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tues., Feb. 28, 2012, in Price Cemetery, Illinois. Calling will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m., on Mon., Feb. 27, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
