Emogene Collins, 90, of Mooresville, died on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis after succumbing to her injuries obtained from a fall. She was born on April 4, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late Sam Tezzis and Frances (Abott) Tezzis.
She previously managed Springhill Apartments for 18 years and worked at Top Value Trading Stamps. She enjoyed playing Euchre, bowling, fishing, and traveling on bus tours. She was an IU and Colts fan, and she also enjoyed watching professional bowling and golf.
Emogene is survived by her family including her son, Jerry Collins of Indianapolis; sister, Betty Parks of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Collins; sons, Thomas St. Martin and Larry St. Martin; and sister, Martha Thomas.
In keeping with her wishes, Emogene’s earthly remains have been cremated. SERVICE DELAYED. A new date for the graveside service will be announced once scheduled. Her remains will be laid to rest between her sons, Thomas and Larry, following the service. Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
