Enos Crusenberry, 66, died January 17, 2015, in the emergency room at St. Francis Hospital, Mooresville. Enos was born January 19, 1948, in Pennington Gap, Virginia, to the late Clifford and Eva Marie (Ewing) Crusenberry.
Enos attended Mooresville High School and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a mechanic for a few years and later worked for Beard Masonry for 15 years. Enos was a faithful member of the Mooresville Church of God, where he was baptized in 2014. He enjoyed walking in Mooresville and could often be found making a journey to or from McDonalds. He looked forward to going to church on Sunday mornings and didn’t very often miss a church dinner on Wednesday evening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky and Clifford “Bud” Crusenberry.
Survivors include his sons, Enos Dotson of Morgantown and Dana Crusenberry of Martinsville; sisters, Veda N. Ely (Tom) of Dryden, Virginia, Tincie Payne of Mooresville, Shirley Trusty of Mooresville, and Lena B. Beard (Randy) of Mooresville; six grandchildren; a large host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the Mooresville Cemetery.
