Ernest F. Boling
70, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 5, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. Ernest was born on August 17, 1950 in Spencer, IN to the late Lavina (Close) and Ernest L. Boling.

Ernest proudly served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force. Ernest worked in maintenance at the Carrier Corporation for 35 years, until his retirement in 2012. He was a member of the American Legion Post #64 and the Outreach Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Ida Boling and a brother Russell Boling.

He is survived by his sons Jay (Sherri) Boling, Joshua (Michelle) Boling; brothers LeRoy Boling, John Boling; sisters Susan Boling and Virginia Boling; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8th from 4-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9th at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Splinter Ridge Cemetery, Patricksburg, IN, Saturday at 1:00pm.

All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment. You are also invited to watch the services via live stream on the Carlisle Branson Facebook page.
