Eulalia Funk

Eulalia Margaret Moser Funk, 100, passed away peacefully November 19, 2020. Mrs. Funk was born August 9, 1920, to the late George and Rose Moser in Brunswick, Missouri. She married Harold Funk on June 10, 1944, and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2012.

She was one of seven children and was preceded in death by Gene, Fr. Victor, Mary Ann, Eva, Clarence, and Paul. She was also preceded in death by children, Stephen Anthony, Kenneth Victor, and Jerome “Jerry” Edward.

Survivors include her children, Harold Eugene (Joann), Joseph George (Julie), Marianne (John) Hawkins, and Dennis Michael (Cindy); a brother, George Moser; 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 21, 2020, in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Mass will be livestreamed on the St. Thomas More Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/stthomasmorecatholicchurch/. Cremation will follow, and inurnment will be in Lambert Cemetery, Kankakee, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
