Evelyn Ferguson

84, passed away peacefully at home in Indianapolis on October 30, 2019. She was born on July 4, 1935 in Rock Island, Illinois to the late William and Mabel (Scarborough) Spaulding.

Evelyn worked as a sales associate in the garden department for Walmart in Plainfield, IN and later transferred to the Poplar Bluff, MO location, where she retired after many years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Gene Ferguson; daughter Vickie; granddaughter Krista and 10 siblings.

She is survived by her brother Harry E. Spaulding; children Rodney Ferguson (Julie), Diane Bennett (Chuck), Gene Perry Ferguson (Nancy); 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday November 9th from 9am-11am at White Sanders Funeral Home, 717 1st Street, Fisk, MO, with funeral services beginning at 11am in the funeral home. Evelyn will be laid to rest at Browns Chapel Cemetery in Brousley, MO.
