Flavia Frances Layman, 71, Mooresville, died October 4, 2011, in Brown County Health and Living. Mrs. Layman was born July 16, 1940, in Liberty, Kentucky, to the late William and Murl (King) Huff.
She was a homemaker and had attended the Mooresville Church of God.
Mrs. Layman was preceded in death by her husband, William Layman; siblings, Naomi Lakes, Rita Randolph, and Tandy Huff.
Survivors include children, Bobby, Vanessa, Paul, Laura Jean, Jamie Ray, Gloria, and Jeffry Allen; sister, Tina Madge; brother, Herschel Edward Huff; a host of loving nieces and nephews and extended family.
Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, 4 to 8 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011, in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
