Florence Stokley Kiefer, 87, Camby, passed away peacefully February 14, 2016, in her residence. Florence was born April 25, 1928, in Baldwin, Illinois, to the late Adolf and Alvina (Junge) Muskoph. She was widowed to Carl Stokley in 1989 and later married Chris Kiefer, who also preceded her in death.
Florence worked as a sales clerk for Sears Roebuck in downtown Indianapolis for many years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary and formerly North Madison Baptist Church. More recently, she was a member of Mt. Gilead Christian Church. She enjoyed caring for her flower gardens and was especially fond of traveling. She and Mr. Kiefer were availed many opportunities to travel throughout the United States through the years. Florence will be missed by her loving family.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Bobby; one sister, Helen Lansing.
Survivors include her two sons, James Stokley of Camby and Mark Stokley (Sherry) of Camby; sister, Rose Sykes of Sparta, Illinois; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pastor Billy Gott will officiate the 2 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, February 18, 2016, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
