Frances B. Abbott

89, Indianapolis, formerly of Mooresville, went to be with her Lord on November 29, 2017. Frances was born on October 2, 1928 in Centerton, IN to the late Earl W. and Zella (Brock) Warriner.

Frances was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert and Earl Jr. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Leo “Jack” Abbott and many nieces and nephews, who loved her and will greatly miss her!

Frances was a former resident of Mooresville and was a graduate of Mooresville High School. She also attended Butler University before getting married to Jack in January of 1949. Frances and Jack were the original owners of the Tri County Sports Shop in Mooresville.

Visitation will be held Friday Dec. 1st from 4-8pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Steve White, Saturday Dec. 2nd at 1:00pm in Plainfield Christian Church, where she was a long-time member. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Plainfield Christian Church- Tree House Ministry, 800 Dan Jones Rd. Plainfield, IN 46168.
