Frank David Endicott, “Pappy”, 86, lifelong Montgomery County resident, went to be with the Lord December 16, 2020. Mr. Endicott was born November 5, 1934, in Crawfordsville, to the late Virgil and Frances (Jackman) Endicott. He married Donna Mae (Adams) Endicott on October 10, 1954, and she survives.
Frank graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1952. He worked early on for 15 years at
A & P Supermarket. He then devoted 27 years of service at RR Donnelley, followed by 10 years at Fuji Film. Needless to say, Frank had a strong work ethic. He also had a love for cars that provided a nice opportunity for him to enjoy a retirement job driving vehicles for various local car dealers. He was a 60-year member and ordained Deacon at the Waynetown Baptist Church. Frank was also a 50-year member of the Crawfordsville Masonic Lodge. Above all, he was a strong family man who always looked forward to traveling to the next adventure. He was especially fond of Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Biloxi, Mississippi. Frank never turned down a sweet treat, especially if gooseberry pie was being served for dessert. He will be fondly remembered by his loving family and many friends for his kind, compassionate, and loving manner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin brother, Fred and other siblings, Virgil, Joann, and Susie.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Donna Mae; sons, Frank (Carla) of Noblesville and Scot (Amy) of Crawfordsville; sister, Nancy Cook of Crawfordsville; grandchildren, Clay Endicott of Chicago and Niki (Dave) McMahon of Sarasota, Florida; Lindsey Endicott of Crawfordsville; and
Logan (Karsyn Mussche) Endicott of Crawfordsville; one great grandchild, Nolan and one on the way; and a bonus daughter Angela Quadt-Ebertz, Germany.
