Geneva Pauline Loudermilk, 96, Camby, passed away peacefully December 14, 2017, after a brief illness. Mrs. Loudermilk was born November 4, 1921, in Bloomington, to the late Marcus Buffaloe and Goldie (Chambers).
She graduated from Bloomington High School and worked for 16 years for Kroger and 25 years for Jet Credit Union. Mrs. Loudermilk attended Plainfield United Community Church of the Nazarene. One to stay active, she had a great quality of life for her 96 years. She enjoyed crocheting and was an accomplished seamstress. She could often be found studying her Bible, but always looked forward to the next international trip. Above all, she was strongly devoted to her family and simply loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Loudermilk; sisters, Jean Weir and Marilyn Sue Phillips.
Survivors include sons, David (Judith) Gentry of Florida, Stephen (Linda) Gentry of Indianapolis, John Thomas (Debbie) Loudermilk of Clayton, and Tracy Loudermilk of Martinsville; daguhters, Robin Loudermilk of Kokomo, and Kathy (Kevin) Smith of Mooresville; brother, John (Eva) Buffaloe of Bloomington; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Morehouse of Indianapolis and Mary Janet Ingels of Pittsboro; 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Monday, December 18, 2017, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 12 Noon. A private family burial will follow in Fairfield Friends Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Franciscan Hospice House.
