George William Belden,
78, of Mooresville, passed away on July 01, 2024, at Independence Village of Avon. He was born in Binghamton, New York on July 31, 1945, to the late Robert and Emma Belden. George graduated high school and immediately joined the United States Army, serving his country in the Vietnam War. He worked for Indianapolis Water Company for 35 years before his retirement.
George thoroughly enjoyed the archery club. He was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and photography. George had a passion for music; he played the organ and guitar. Although a private person, George will be missed by those close to him.
Survivors include his brothers, Bob Belden (wife, Dottie), and Gary Belden; sister, Bonnie Belden Johnson; nieces, Kim Dennison (husband, Robert), Christine Stout, Beth Bean, Deanna Roerick, Amanda Rapp, Robin Chenault, Bobbi Mullins, Reneé Cook (husband, James); nephews, Anthony Pitcher, Martin Pitcher (wife, Libby), and Rusty Johnson (wife, April), and a great niece Dorothy Westmeyer.
