Hazel Azalea (Simpson) Warner, 109, of Mooresville, passed away December 17, 2020 at Millers Merry Manor, Mooresville. Hazel was born October 15, 1911, in Sinnemahoning, Pennsylvania, to the late Wilton and Laura (Wagner) Simpson. She married the love of her life Harold Glenn Warner, Sr. on May 14, 1929; who preceded her in death on January 2, 2000.
Hazel was a member of Bethel Friends Church. She was also a member of the Mooresville Eastern Star for over 80 years. Hazel enjoyed crocheting, knitting, flowers, playing bingo, euchre and attending the Mooresville Senior Citizen Center. She was an amazing woman who always left a lasting impression and a smile on your face with anyone she met. She is going to be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Arthur Reed Warner; brother, Robert Simpson; and sister, Mildred Patten.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary (Roy) Pringle; son, Harold Glenn “Sonny” (Mae) Warner, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 36 great - great grandchildren and 7 great-great-great grandchildren.
