Helen Corriveau, age 87, of Eagle River, WI and formerly of Mooresville passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at her residence. She was born March 7, 1927 in Mooresville, IN to the late Edwin and Goldie (Lehr) Simpson.
Helen moved to Eagle River, WI in 1964. She worked at First National Bank and Draeger O’ Brien Law Offices. She then moved to Neenah, WI where she worked for Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 30 years.. She loved sharing her home with her husband Bob and friends in the beauty of nature on the lake in the Northwood's. Helen had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh and fostered many good times. Her smile and her fun personality are part of her legacy.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Johnson who passed in 1998. Also preceding her in death: Brothers - William (Bill), Robert (Bob), and Richard Simpson, Sisters – Cora Griffith, Mabel Conrad and Betty Dunham.
Helen is survived by her husband Bob Corriveau of Eagle River, WI: her daughter, Jayne Weingarten; her brother, James Simpson of Mooresville, IN; her three grandchildren, Michelle Aguilar, Adrienne Hernandez and Kristopher Paul Johnson; her four great grandchildren, Katelyn, Amber, Sammie Aguilar and Jude Paul Johnson; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Helen touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Paul Johnson’s extended family from the Moorseville and Martinsville area were also close to Helen’s heart and will share many fond memories.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday May 31, 2014 at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. A gathering of friends will be held from 1:00PM until the time of her memorial service. Private burial will take place at Mooresville Cemetery.
