Helen Elizabeth Schoenherr Jinks, 99, Mooresville, died September 2, 2014, in St. Vincent Hospice. She was born April 18, 1915, in Fairfield, Indiana, to the late Arthur and Safrona (Cassidy) Kelley.
Mrs. Jinks graduated from Brookville High School. She worked as a hair dresser for a number of years before being employed at Indiana Farm Bureau. She enjoyed golfing at Eagle Pines in Mooresville, was an avid bowler, and also enjoyed fishing. She was a member of the Mooresville VFW Post 1111 Ladies’ Auxillary.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert L. Schoenherr and her second husband, Howard Jinks; brother, Armand Kelley; sisters, Pauline Sawyer and Lois Palmer.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Schoenherr (Peggy) of Atlanta; daughters, Judith Collins (Ted) of Indianapolis and Karen Marcrum of Cicero; sister, Pat Wedding of Richmond; 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 12 Noon, until service time.
