Herman H. Mudd
77, of Monrovia, passed away April 29, 2018 at his son’s home in Mooresville. Herman was born on January 19, 1941 in Caneyville, Kentucky to the late Scott Mudd and Lola (Elder) Mudd.
Herman worked as meat cutter for Taurus Foods and McFarland Foods for many years before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, coached baseball and softball and bowled in a league in his younger years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter; Barbara Lucas.
He is survived by his children; James (Patti) Lucas, Vicky (Jerry) Kaufman, Laurie (Bill) McKee, Robert (Laweeta) Mudd, Angela (Michael) Crist, Travis (Brenda) Mudd, brothers; Richard Mudd, Willard Mudd, sister; Goldie Hack, 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society to fight lung cancer.
