Homer A. Massey III
79, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 23, 2019 Franciscan Health in Mooresville. Homer was born on February 14, 1940 in Milladgeville, Gerogia to the late Homer Massey II and Evelyn (Waller) Massey.
Homer was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A hardworking man, owning several businesses over the years most recently, Massey Metal Products.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Lee Maddox and a sister Becky Maddox.
Survivors include a son Robert Massey; daughters Michelle Robling, Patty Ratliff; brothers Armor Maddox (Connie), Buddy Maddox (Alice), Ann Massey Drscoll (Carl), seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Homer’s life will be held Friday March 1st from 5-7pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with a memorial service at 7pm. Graveside services with military honors will be held Saturday March 2nd at 10am at White Lick Cemetery. Mooresville.
