Irene Theising

Irene Theising, 89, Idianapolis, died October 29, 2011, in Meadow Lakes Health Care Center. She was born May 23, 1922, in Beech Grove, to the late William and Garnet (Adams) Theising.

Ms. Theising worked at Diamond Chain and later retired from Western Electric. She enjoyed dancing early on and had taken classes at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She also had attended Holy Name Catholic Church years ago. One of Ms. Theising’s favorite pastimes was watching the cardinals around her home.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Edwin, and Francis Theising.

Survivors include her sister, June M. Doty of Mooresville; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011, 11 a.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 10 a.m. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
