Ivan Ray Engleman
87, of Mooresville, died peacefully on November 14, 2018, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Ivan was born on January 31, 1931 in Marengo, Indiana to the late, Alta Mae (Key) Engleman and Ermel H. Engleman. He attended Marengo High School. He served in the US Army for 2 years, then served in the US Air Force Reserves for 8 years. He married Vivian (House) Engleman and they moved to Indianapolis in 1958. He then went to work for Bridgeport Brass as an electrician and later was a foreman/ supervisor and retired after 43 years.
He was a member of the Mooresville Masonic Lodge #78 for over 60 years and was a member of the VFW Post #1111. He enjoyed just about everything from fishing, scuba diving, boating, camping, motorcycles, flying, snowmobiling, water skiing and riding 4 wheelers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Juanita Simler and his beloved dog; Wolfie.
He is survived by his wife; Vivian (House) Engleman, daughters; Rena (Terry) Hillman, Venita (Roger) Dotson, Angie (Chuck) Russell, brothers: Raymond Engleman, Randy Engelman, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and beloved dog; Rowdy.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 10am-12:30pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with a service Saturday at 12:30pm in the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services in Centerton Cemetery.
