James B. Jenkins

James (“Jamie”) Bernard Jenkins died unexpectedly, but peacefully at home in Mooresville, Indiana on Wednesday, December 3rd at the age of 51.

Jamie is survived by his partner, Patricia Harrison; father, Robert Jenkins of Randolph, WI; his brother, Jeff Jenkins (Joan Tillo) of Fox Lake, WI; his step-children, Hillary Munzer (Phil Munzer), Emily Jones (Colin Vaughan); grandchildren, Isabella & Nolan Munzer; nephews, Aaron Jenkins (Gina), Adam Jenkins (Amanda); and grand nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Mae Jenkins (nee Polenska) of Fox Lake, WI.

Jamie was born on February 6th, 1963 in Ripon, WI to Robert and Helen Jenkins. He was an accomplished wood worker, hunter, and outdoor sportsman. He developed a recent interest/hobby in wood carving. He was an industrial painter by trade, an active member of Duck’s Unlimited, the American Legion, and the International Aerospace Machinist Union. He was also an avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packer fan.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 4:00pm on Sunday, December 7th at First United Methodist Church of Mooresville, 900 Indianapolis Rd, Mooresville, IN 46158, with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. Assistant Pastor Ben Bezy will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jamie’s life.
