James E. House, Sr., 67, Mooresville, died July 2, 2011, in his residence. Mr. House was born August 25, 1943, in Printiss, Kentucky, to the late Mayfield and Vonnie Lee ( Baize) House.
He attended Washington High School in Indianapolis and proudly served in the United States Air Force. Mr. House was a faithful employee at Olin Brass for more than 20 years. He enjoyed horses, tinkering with mechanics, and leather crafting.
Survivors include his sons, James E. House, Jr. of Indianapolis, Stephen P. House of Linton, and Joseph House, Sr. of Martinsville; daughter, Kristie House of Indianapolis; brother, Eugene House of Greenwood; sisters, Nina Mangrum of Shelbyville and Dorothy Mangrum of Southport; companion, Margaret McNabney Greene; 8 grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 4 to 7 p.m., at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
