Janice Louise Stultz, 73, Mooresville, formerly of Brazil, passed away June 17, 2021, at Franciscan Health Indianapolis, with her son and daughter-in-law by her side. Janice was born March 16, 1948, in Brazil, to the late Eugene and Louise (Atterbury) Specker.
She graduated from Staunton High School in 1966. Janice had an unwavering work ethic and was employed as a transcriptionist for many years at Clay County Hospital, Union Hospital, and for Dr. Jeffrey J. Bilotta. When she moved to Mooresville to be closer to her grandchildren, she worked in the Meijer Deli in Camby. She attended Cloverland Gospel Church when she lived in Brazil. Simply put, Janice’s grandchildren, Lucy and Charlie, were tops – they could do no wrong in Janice’s eyes. She enjoyed spending time with them and playing along with their antics. They could not have asked for a more adoring grandma. Janice will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her fierce independence and caring nature.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Specker, Marilyn Sherwood, and David Specker.
Survivors include one son, Chris (Amy) Stultz and two lucky grandchildren, Lucy Louise and Charles Bohdan Stultz.
According to Janice’s wishes, a private family service will be held. Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the family. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
