Jason M. Cavallero

October 17, 1988 — November 23, 2021

Jason M. Cavallero
34, of Mooresville, passed away on November 23, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. Jason was born on October 17, 1988 in Indianapolis to Ricky L. Cavallero and Brenda J. (Bales) Cavallero.

Jason attended Plainfield High School where he was active in sports and band. He worked for Carter Lumber as a carpenter for many years, where he was known for his skills in using a nail gun, that sounded like a machine gun as he put together frames quickly. He enjoyed cooking, especially smoking brisket and ribs. In following his passion for cooking, he attended Culinary School in hopes of someday becoming a chef.

Jason was an awesome Dad and Husband. He would always make sure his family had what they needed before his own needs were met. He enjoyed working puzzles, playing video games and fishing with his kids. He was an old soul and always made you feel like everything was going to be okay. Thanksgiving and Christmas were Jason’s favorite holidays as he loved cooking for his family and spending time with those he loved. He would lead his family out to pick out the perfect Christmas tree and once decorated, they would watch the movie, A Christmas Story. He will be remembered as a funny, loveable, awesome Dad and Uncle, who loved to joke to lighten the mood or simply to see someone smile.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Jessica (Sloan) Cavallero; children Damien M. Cavallero, Gabriel M. Cavallero, Kyra Morford, Anthony Morford; sister Holly Lee Cavallero; niece Grace J. Cavallero; nephew Keegan W. Cavallero and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends will gather for Jason’s Life Celebration™ visitation on Friday, December 3rd from 4-6pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. According to his wishes, he will be cremated and scattered at a later date at his favorite fishing hole.
