Jay C. Creed, 82, of Mooresville, passed away August 14, 2019. She was born March 15, 1937, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to the late Earl and Josephine (Delaney) Bill.

Jay worked for the Indiana State Government doing clerical work form many years retiring on November 26, 2002. She was a very loving, caring person always volunteering her time to the church and community. Jay was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She volunteered at the St. Thomas More Applefest and Society of St Vincent de Paul. She also enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, knitting, crocheting, outdoor activities and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John Allen Creed.

Survivors include her son John Earl Creed, his wife Angela, four granddaughters, and six great-grandchildren

Visitation will be on Friday, August 23, 2019, 4 to 8 p.m. at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Saturday, in St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Burial will follow in White Lick Cemetery.
