Jeffery Allen Renner

Jeffery Allen Renner, 56 of Mooresville, passed away February 26, 2015 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. He was born in Indianapolis on May 9, 1958. Jeff worked as a machinist at General Motors-Allison’s Transmission for over 30 years; he retired from there in 2008. He was currently employed as a machinist at Apex in Camby. On December 24, 2000 Jeffery was united in marriage to his loving wife, Susan I. (Graham) Renner; she survives. Jeffery and Susan attended Mooresville Church of God. As an advocate for the Department of Natural Resources Jeffery enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He also showed off his artistic talents by hand crafting stained glass windows. Always doing for others, Jeffery was involved in prison ministry, volunteering for mission organizations, and would have been proud to know that his final offering to others was through the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization. His mother, Virginia (Losh) Renner preceded him in death. Other survivors include his father and step mother, David and Lois Renner of Mooresville; three daughters, Jennifer M. (Gary) Tallent of Plainfield, Jessica L. (Christopher) Ratliff of Camby and Morgan D. Renner of Mooresville; three step sons, Kegan S. West of Mooresville, Christopher A. Graham of Little Pointe, IN and Brandon M. Graham of Mooresville; three brothers, Richard (Diane) Allen of McCordsville, Timothy Renner of Plainfield and Michael (Shelly) Renner of Mooresville; one sister, Cindy (Roger) Fouty of Greenwood and six grandchildren, Luke Allen Tallent, Raven Nicole Ratliff, Draven Jackson, Blake Garrad, Kyler Scott West and Lyla Davidson. Family and friends will gather for visitation in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Brooklyn Cemetery.
