Jennifer Lynne Skiles

Jennifer Lynne Skiles, 43, of Mooresville, left this earthly life on Monday, December 2, 2024 at the Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis. She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on October 22, 1981 to Thomas Michael Skiles and Lou Ann (Gray) Skiles.

She graduated from Mooresville High School with the class of 2000. She went on to earn an associate’s degree in psychology and criminal justice. She was an avid music lover enjoying rock, rap, and the “unique” songs her dad made up! A true people person, she was incredibly outgoing and had a unique talent of making others feel heard and seen. Aside from people, she also loved animals, especially her dogs. Experiencing the peace and tranquility of the ocean, she greatly enjoyed trips to the beaches of Florida. 

Jennifer will be missed and forever remembered by her family and friends including her mother, Lou Ann Skiles of Mooresville; father and step-mother, Mike and Pam Skiles of Bloomington; brother, Jacob (fiancé, Brittney) Skiles of Crawfordsville; uncles, Charles (wife, Sharilee) Gray of Camby, John (wife, Rebecca) Gray of Plainfield, Wes Skiles of Mooresville, and Dave Dodson of Bloomington; niece and nephews, Oakland, Oden, Olivia, and Alex; and Anthony (wife, Jamie) Gray, Jeremy (wife, Kristi) (children, Jay and Daniel) Gray, Jared (daughter, Olivia) Gray who she loved very much and many more cousins. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, December 5th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Jennifer’s Life Celebration® Service will immediately follow beginning at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Following the services, her earthly remains will be cremated. 

The family asks for contributions to be made in lieu of flowers to your local humane society.
