Jerry Dean Daniels. Jr.

 61 of Martinsville, passed away on February 22, 2024. Jerry was born on December 7, 1962 in Eminence, IN to the late Jerry Dean Daniels, Sr. and Louise Daniels.

A lifelong resident of Morgan County, Jerry was a graduate of Eminence High School. He then began his over 40-year career as a truck driver, most recently working for Penn Tank Lines. Known by his CB handle “Simple Man”, Jerry loved driving his truck across the country. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, often grilling BBQ on his Big Green Egg and riding his Harley Davidson. He will be remembered as a friendly man that never met a stranger, always had an encouraging word for everyone, and was willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Julie (Kehl) Daniels; stepson Herb Vincent Peterson and his wife Heidi; grandchildren Harper, Emerson, Finnegan as well as his beloved cat, Patches who will all miss him.

A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, Indiana at a later time.
