Jerry Dean Stuck, 59, longtime Mooresville resident, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 26, 2022. Jerry was born November 26, 1962, in Indianapolis, to the late Jerry Virgil Stuck and Linda (Haas) Palmeri.
He graduated from Mooresville High School in 1981 and proudly served in the United States Navy. Jerry earned a degree from Indiana Institute of Technology in accounting and worked as a postal carrier at Eagle Creek, Southport, and Greenwood for the United States Postal Service for more than 30 years, retiring in 2018. Jerry was an avid golfer and Indianapolis Colts fan. He loved riding his Harley and had ridden across the United States, including several trips to Sturgis. Jerry was also quite handy when it came to construction and woodworking projects – always taking great pride in his work.
Above all, Jerry was an incredible dad, papaw, brother, and friend. He was the glue that held his family together. Jerry taught incredibly valuable lessons in how to be a good friend, how to always do the honorable thing, instilled the value of a strong work ethic. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving family and many friends.
Survivors include his children, Tyler Stuck and Alexandra Stuck; sisters, Jody Stuck, Sonja (Jamie) Balingit, and Vonda Bruno; three grandchildren, Drew Alexander Stuck, Joseph Abel Stuck, and Anya Elise Brown. Jerry was married to Terry Jackson for 21 years, bringing his two children into their lives.
Jerry’s Life Celebration® visitation and service will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Services will follow at 3 p.m. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
