Jil Ann Mitchener Olinger, 44, Pittsboro, died peacefully at home on November 12, 2012. Jil was born August 8, 1968, in Indianapolis to Wayne and Connie (Hughes) Mitchener, who survive.
Jil graduated from Monrovia High School in 1986. She was a manager for AAA Hoosier Motor Club for many years until 2007. An accomplished artist, she was a member of Indy Decorative Artists. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and dancing. She was also a member of Indy Feral. Early on, Jil enjoyed being a member of the Camp Fire Girls and also had danced at Disney. She will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
Jil was preceded in death by one sister, Dawn Mitchener Rogier.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Olinger of Pittsboro; parents, Wayne and Connie Mitchener of Heritage Lake; brothers, Michael Mitchener (Mary) of Kansas and Daniel Mitchener (Dawn) of Roachdale; niece, Rebecca Mitchener; nephews, Matt Sutton, Brad Sutton, Andy Mitchener, Josh Mitchener, and Trevor Mitchener.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Jil’s life on Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. There will be an opportunity to share memories at 7 p .m. Cremation will follow the service at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville.
