JoAnn "Polly" Welch

JoAnn “Polly” Welch, age 86, of Leesburg died on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 after an extended illness. She was born on January 19, 1928 in Marion, Indiana to the late Frank and Naomi Dilts. She was the youngest of 12 children and the last to survive.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Isaac Welch Sr. and her son, Thomas Isaac Welch Jr.

She spent her life caring for her family and was known by her children as a “Great Mom”. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Oswego.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Conkle and her husband Mike of Mooresville; her two grandchildren, Edward Conkle of Mooresville, and Sarah Conkle of Indianapolis.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
