Joanne Skinner, 59, Camby, died peacefully at home June 7, 2014. Joanne was born April 5, 1955, in Terre Haute, to the late Kenneth and Geneva Wilson.
She attended high school in Terre Haute. Joanne enjoyed reading and caring for her flowers. She had a great sense of humor and was known for her practical jokes. Above all, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie, Davey, and Bobby.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Skinner, to whom she was united in marriage July 3, 1998; children, Brandy Kleiber-Smock (Danny) of Indianapolis and Rance Kleiber (Holly) of Indianapolis; step-son, Jace Skinner (Mary) of Spencer; siblings, Kenny, Sandy, Barbara, Darla, and Carol; six grandchildren, Rance III, Jozelyn, Cora, Shelby, Malary, and Danielle.
The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
