John A. Clark, 80, Greenwood, passed away January 7, 2018. Mr. Clark was born September 14, 1937, in Indianapolis, to the late Edwin Clark and Mary Clark.
John was a self-employed carpenter and master woodworker. The ultimate handyman, he could fix and make just about anything. He was a member of the Southport Church of the Nazarene. John enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, but most importantly was strongly devoted to his family. He will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Clark.
Survivors include children, John (Joyce) Clark, Theresa Jones of Indianapolis, Daniel (Teresa) Clark of Mooresville, Brenda (Clifton King) Bray of Greenwood, Glen Clark of Indianapolis; sisters, Mary Henderson of Franklin, Betty (Lowell) Cullison of Danville, Martha (Philip) Salamander of Martinsville, and Flora Qualls of Florida; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018, in the Southport Church of the Nazarene, 920 E. Southport Road, Indianapolis, with calling there from 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall.
