John D. Lehnberg
84 of Mooresville, passed away on March 4, 2022, at the Waters in Martinsville. John was born on April 3, 1937 in Lawndale, California to the late Carl and Iva Lehnberg.
John was a welder by trade, working most of his life in the Los Angeles area. He and his wife, Jacqueline moved to Indiana to be closer with family. He enjoyed building and fixing things by using his welding skills. He had his own crucible forge in his barn that allowed him to weld and mold things together, allowing him to custom build his own Hot Rod. Additionally, he enjoyed being on the open roads riding his Harley.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline (Sondernegger) Lehnberg and a sister Carol Levine.
He is survived by his children Randy, Johnny, Danny Lehnberg; stepdaughter Cindy Beals along with extended family and friends.
John’s wishes were to be cremated and someday scattered along with his wife off the coast of Southern California. No formal services will be observed at this time.
