John Richard Atkins
75, of Mooresville, passed away on November 10, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. John was born on March 25, 1946 in Springfield, Missouri to the late Verna Atkins and Hazel (Haden) Atkins.

He married Dianna (Roberts) on April 12, 1975 and were married for over 46 years. He and Dianna enjoyed the music of The Oak Ridge Boys and traveled to many of their shows, often sitting in the front row. He retired from Eli Lilly and Company after 25 years of service as a drug agent. His philosophy of life was simple, “Nothing is ever as bad or as good as it seems”.
