John T. Tracey

John T. Tracey, 47, Mooresville, died September 5, 2015, in IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. John was born August 20, 1968, in Holland, Michigan, to Roger and Mary (Sanger) Tracey, who survive.

He graduated from Grandville (MI) High School and earned a degree in International Business from Florida State University. John was employed as a Materials Manager at Eaton Logistics Center and previously had worked at Perrigo, I I Stanley, and Total Logistics Control. A true family man, John was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend to many.

John is survived by his wife, Melissa (Knurr) Tracey, to whom he was united in marriage July 30, 1994; children, Kara and Kevin Tracey; parents, Mary and Roger Tracey of Michigan; siblings, Greg Tracey and Teri Richards, both of Michigan.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of John Tracey on Saturday, September 12, 2015, 1 to 3 p.m., with the service beginning at 3 p.m., in the First United Methodist Church, Mooresville. In addition there will be a second service in West Olive Michigan on Sunday, September 20, 2015, 1 to 3 p.m., with the service beginning at 3 p.m., at Camp Blodgett, 10451 Lakeshore Dr. Immediately following both services, all are invited to continue in the celebration of John’s life in sharing memories and greeting the family over pizza or refreshments. To honor John’s memory, those attending are encouraged to dress casually.
