Jonathan Patrick McGagh, 35, Mooresville, passed away suddenly June 29, 2018, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Jonathan was born April 13, 1983, in Indianapolis, to Kevin F. McGagh and Ruth (Mills) McGagh.
He graduated from Plainfield High School in 2000 and most recently worked as a crew supervisor at Sunbelt Industrial Pump and Power. He was previously employed at Rhoades Beverage. Jonathan had been a member of Severed Ties Car Club. He simply loved anything shiny with a motor – motorcycles, bikes, boats, and trucks. Jonathan was incredibly hard working and a proud provider for his family. On September 25, 2009, Jonathan’s life was incredibly enriched when his daughter Finley was born. He loved his role as a husband and father. Although you always knew right where you stood with Jonathan, he was also described as very caring, generous, and loving.
Survivors include his wife, Bethany (Cox) McGagh; daughter, Finley Harper McGagh; father and step-mother, Kevin and Erica McGagh of Plainfield; mother and her fiancé, Ruth McGagh and Terry Hardan of Mooresville; sister, Katie (Justin) Egenolf of Greenwood; grandparents, Fred & Carolyn Mills of Mooresville and Jack McGagh of Ireland; step-sisters, Felicia and Ana Fernandez of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lillian McGagh.
