Jordan Noelle Schumake, 21, Monrovia, died June 17, 2012. She was born June 18, 1990, in Indianapolis, to Annette (Bourne) and Robert Schumake.
Jordan fought her battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for many years with strength and courage. She graduated from Monrovia High School in 2009. She enjoyed all kinds of music, reading books, and watching TV. In school Jordan enjoyed taking art classes such as photography and ceramic, also singing in choir class. Jordan will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Schumake, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Francis Bourne.
Survivors include her mother, Annette (Bourne) Schumake of Monrovia; father, Robert Schumake of Fairland; sisters, Elizabeth and Courtney Schumake of Monrovia; half-sister, Monica Schumake of Shelbyville; niece, Chesney Ann Christian of Monrovia; maternal grandparents, Barbara Human (Kenneth) of Monrovia; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Schumake of Fairland; many aunts and uncles; close friends, Brittany Brown and Sara Renne.
A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2012, at the Cathedral of Prayer Baptist Church, 8446 E. 700 S., Plainfield, IN 46168. Pastor Tim Roller will officiate the service.
