Joyce Ann (Pilto) Johnson, 65 of Mooresville, passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on the morning of February 19, 2015. Joyce was born March 18, 1949 in Washington, Indiana to the late Donald and Mary (Boling) Pilto.
At the young age of 16 Joyce went on a blind date with a young man named Hayden Randolph Johnson, from that very day, Joyce knew that she had met the love of her life; Randy and Joyce were happily married on September 25, 1964 and he survives. Randy and Joyce established Randolph Tool Company, Inc. during the 1980’s; a business which they operated together for 30 years. In 2004 they retired and spent many happy years in Florida together during their retirement.
Other survivors include her two brothers, James Pilto of Chicago and Dennis Pilto of Indianapolis and her sister Carolyn. She was preceded in death by their son, Hayden R. Johnson, Jr. “PeeWee.”
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Sunday, February 22 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Rev. Nathan Janssen will conduct a funeral service on Monday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Scotland Cemetery in Scotland, Indiana.
