Julia Ann Lansberry

February 5, 1945 — January 18, 2020

Julia Ann (Hagee) Lansberry, 74, Clayton, passed away January 18, 2020, at Cumberland Trace in Plainfield. Julia was born February 5, 1945, in Indianapolis, to the late Dale L. and Audry (Rariden) Hagee.

Julie earned her nursing degree and worked as a registered nurse at Methodist Hospital for fourteen years, a career she truly loved. She was a 7th generation Quaker and member of the Mooresville Friends Meeting. Julie was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting things. Known for her caring and loving way, she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Hagee.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph I. Lansberry, to whom she was united in marriage July 19, 1964; son, Joseph D. Lansberry; daughters, Jaleen (John) Wallen and Jodey (Thomas) Derringer; brother, Charles Hagee; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

A celebration of Julie’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA. Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
