June (Taylor) Byrnes, 80, Greenwood, formerly of Mooresville, died peacefully July 21, 2015. Mrs. Byrnes was born June 21, 1935, in Indianapolis, to the late Charles and Florence (King) Taylor.
She attended Washington High School and had worked at Nice Pak and Meijer. Mrs. Byrnes attended Good Shepherd Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, dancing, and playing bingo. Above all, she was strongly devoted to her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 siblings.
Survivors include her daughters, Lee Ann Smith (Karl) of Indianapolis, Tina Justus (Jeff) of Mooresville, and Lisa Drury (Tony) of Martinsville; son, Greg Byrnes of Paragaon; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will gather Thursday, July 23, 2015, 3 to 7 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m., following visitation.
