Karen S. Thompson

77, Mooresville, passed away on June 4, 2017 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville. Karen was born on September 7, 1939 in Clinton, Indiana to the late Elbert and Helen (O’Haver) Robbins.

Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and who will be greatly missed by all! She also worked for Target for 19 years before retiring. Later, she worked part time at Lowe’s in Mooresville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Thompson, two sons Royce Thompson, Ron Thompson and a daughter Robin Burton.

Survivors include her children; Rick (Teresa) Thompson of Greenwood, IN; Emily (Edwin) Doney of Camby, brothers; Terry Robbins of Utah, Tom Robbins of Arizona, a sister; Sandra Tincher of Bloomfield, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held on Saturday June 10th from 12noon until 2:00pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
