Kathryn “Pat” Adams
76, of Plainfield, and a longtime resident of Mooresville, passed away on April 18, 2020 at home, surrounded by her family. Pat was born on September 24, 1943 in West Newton, Indiana to the late John and Esther (Conder) Wise.
Pat was the matriarch and the rock of her family. Her family was everything to her and only second to her faith and love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of the Center Community Church in Plainfield. Pat was a retired hairdresser and had worked at three different salons on the Southwest side of Indianapolis. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and painting and was a member of the Mooresville Arts Partnership and often displayed her work in Mooresville art shows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Adams; brothers Tommy Wise, Alfred Wise, and grandson Brandon Adams.
She is survived by her children David (Barbie) Adams of Camby, Rick Adams of Plainfield, Teresa (Lee) Goode of Martinsville; brother Lee Wise of Brazil; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her companion Ken Oakley of Plainfield, and many Nieces, Nephews, and friends.
A drive up service will be held Friday, April 24th at 11am in the parking lot of Center Community Church, 5938 Sugar Grove Rd, Plainfield, IN 46168. All guests will remain in their vehicles. Friends and family will have an opportunity to pay their final respects as they leave the parking lot. Private burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
