Kenneth E. Wilcher
87, of Mooresville, passed away March 6, 2018 at Hendricks Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with COPD. Kenny was born on April 11, 1930 in Liberty, Kentucky. As a young man he moved to Indiana where he was raised by his grandparents Claude and Zora Wilcher, who preceded him in death.
Kenny was an auto detailer and ran Kenny’s Car Clean Up servicing many local car dealerships. Kenny married the love of his life, Imogene (Forrester) Wilcher after a short courtship. Together, they celebrated sixty-four years of marriage in 2017. Kenny enjoyed watching television in his spare time, in particular, WWE wrestling, Westerns and IU Basketball. A private man, he enjoyed visiting with his family and neighbors and was there for them when needed.
He is survived by his wife; Imogene Wilcher of Mooresville, daughter; Joyce Wilcher of Indianapolis and a sister; Bertha Payton of Morgantown.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with visitation from 12-2pm at the funeral home prior to the services. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
