Kiersten Grace Woodward

Kiersten Grace Woodward, 16, Martinsville, passed away as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident December 3, 2018. Kiersten was born January 2, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Andy and Jill (Pierce) Woodward.

Kiersten attended Waverly Elementary, Paul Hadley Middle School, and Herron High School. She recently rejoined her classmates and transferred to Mooresville High School for her junior year. An incredibly bright young woman, Kiersten was to have been inducted into the National Honor Society this Sunday. In addition to art, she enjoyed being a member of the Girls’ Choir at Herron and the Finesse Choir at Mooresville. Kiersten had aspirations of becoming a graphic artist. Kiersten was an exceptionally independent young lady, yet very caring and always put the needs of others first. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loving family and many friends.

Kiersten was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Guy Pierce.

Survivors include her parents, Jill and Andy Woodward; sister, Lainie Woodward; paternal grandparents, Allison & John Chapman and Ellen & Bill Woodward; maternal grandparents, Patricia & Norm Bonahoom; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family will gather to remember and celebrate the life of Kiersten Woodward Monday, December 10, 2018, 3 to 7 p.m., at the Tube Factory artspace, 1125 S. Cruft Street, Indianapolis, IN 46203. A Celebration of Kiersten’s life will begin at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
