Mooresville, Indiana – Kimberly Smith passed away at home after a life-long battle with Crohn’s Disease on October 19, 2022. Kimberly was born in Vincennes, Indiana, to her loving parents, Arthur Jan Smith and Toni Fiscus on July 18, 1974. She was 48.
Kimberly was a woman with a creative side, who spent many hours expressing herself through her work in fingernail art, drawing, and calligraphy. She also enjoyed a variety of music; from country and classic rock to an unapologetic love of pop. She loved Halloween and Christmas but her favorite time of the year was the summer time, when she could spend as much time in the sunlight as possible.
Most of all Kimberly was a child of God though. She found comfort in her faith and her family above all other things.
She is survived by her parents, Arthur Smith and Toni Fiscus (Roger); son Devan Whedon (Jessica); daughter Skyler Kent (Kelly); brothers Eric Smith of Monrovia and Brad Smith (Tracie) of Woodhaven Michigan; sisters Joni Smith and Mary Smith (Patrick) of Loogootee; Grandchildren Abigail Goodin, Kamrin Whedon, Karson Whedon, Journie Daniels, and Oakleigh Daniels.
Friends and family will gather for Kimberly's Life Celebration® visitation on Friday, October 28th, 2022, at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service, 39 East High Street, Mooresville, Indiana from 3 pm – 5 pm. A memorial service will follow at 5 pm with Reverend Danny Thomas presiding.
The family asks that all memorial donations be made to The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation in Kimberly’s name.
