Larry D. Fuchs, 66, Mooresville, went to be with the Lord November 23, 2012. Mr. Fuchs was born January 11, 1946, to the late Ralph and Marie (Sandefur) Fuchs.
He graduated from Waldron High School and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Larry’s Sunoco in Waldron and later was an over the road truck driver for many years. Very community minded, Larry served as Past Commander of the Mooresville American Legion, Mooresville VFW, and the Springfield, Ohio Amvets. Larry was also the assistant fire chief in Waldron. He enjoyed woodworking in his man cave, NASCAR, and visiting with family and friends over a beverage or two. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Fuchs.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn (Goldey) Fuchs, to whom he was united in marriage Sept. 1, 1974; son Joe Fuchs; daugters, Stacey Parm (Kenny), and Kelley Yontz (Jeff); brother, Paul Fuchs (Rose); sisters, Patti Harker (Richard), Deana Case, and Eddie Sleeth (Jim); ten grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 39 East High Street, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mooresville VFW Post 1111 or to the Mooresville American Legion Post 103.
