Larry S. Myers
73, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 16, 2019 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Larry was born on March 8, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Donald J. Myers and Hazel (Webb) Myers.
Larry grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Ben Davis High School. After high school, Larry embarked on a long career in maintenance for the Sanitation Department for the City of Indianapolis, where he retired. Larry loved watching movies and was a movie buff when it came to movie trivia. He also loved watching NASCAR and was a huge Dale Earnhardt, Dale Jr. and Bill Elliott fan. He also never missed watching his beloved Colts and Cubs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Roy Myers and a daughter Crystal Myers Carson.
He is survived by his dear friend and caregiver, Steven Wright; brothers Arthur Myers, Murray Myers, Perry Myers; sister Denise Casey; 3 grandchildren, Corey Myers, Summer Carson and Damian Carson.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Larry’s life will be held Monday Nov. 25th from 12pm-2pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with funeral services beginning at 2pm the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Floral Park Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
