Larry R. Waldrip

Larry R. Waldrip, 64, Mooresville, died August 19, 2013. Mr. Waldrip was born July 2, 1949, in Marion County, to the late Floyd and Mary (Pollard) Waldrip.

He attended Mooresville High School and worked for many years as a truck driver, most recently for Eagle Trucking. Larry was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting, camping, and attending auctions and flea markets. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his daughters, Shannon Lambert (Perry) of Martinsville, Shawn Spears (Dean) of Martinsville, and Crystal McClure (John) of Mooresville; sister, Norma Lerch (Egon) of Greenwood; brother, Mike Waldrip (Karen) of Camby; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.

Friends and family will gather Thursday, August 22, 2013, 4 to 8 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
