Linda K. (Yocum) Cook, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away suddenly June 27, 2019. She was born February 1, 1951, in Kentucky, to the late Logan and Betty (Watson) Yocum.
Linda worked 20 years at Venture Logistics Trucking as a dispatch. She was known as a very kind Christian woman. Many people looked to Linda as a mother figure. Linda enjoyed helping people, watching children, hosting bible study, and spending time with family. She is going to be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Carol Wade and mother, Betty Yocum.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Curtis Cook of Indianapolis; son William T. Stevenson of West Newton, brother, George Yocum of Kentucky; sister, Sandra Yocum of Kentucky; and a grandson Christopher Stevenson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, July 1, 2019, in the chapel at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Pastor Dave Clayton will officiate, and cremation will follow services at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville.
