Linda K. Parkhurst

74, of Ft. Pierce, Florida, formerly of Mooresville, passed away on March 16, 2019 at her home. Linda was born on November 19, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to the late William F. Barron and Helen (Schmidt) Barron.

Linda grew up in Indianapolis and attended George Washington High School. From there, she entered the workforce as a machine operator at Allison General Motors for 14 ½ years until her retirement. In her retirement, she and her husband Robert moved to Ft Pierce, Florida. She and Robert enjoyed taking road trips to find the best restaurants, and shopping Flea Markets to find those hidden treasures.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Barron Sr., William Barron Jr., Daniel Barron and a sister, Barbara J. Duarte.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 27 years, Robert E. Parkhurst; son Robert F. Parkhurst; daughters Cindy Beck, Vickie Hyatt; sisters Mary Lou Deweese, Sondra Barron, Patricia Organ; three grandchildren Kayla Gregory, Marlo McNeil, Damian Parkhurst and two great grandchildren Lawrence and Jaylee.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 29th from 4-8pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Friends and family will meet at Mooresville Cemetery at 10am Saturday, March 30th for a graveside service.

While flowers are welcomed, memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to the American Kidney Foundation 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300 Rockville, MD 20852.
